Process

We are an approved applicator of all major superyacht paint suppliers using only recognised systems from surface preparation, up to and including topcoat. We use only traditional application and sanding methods, combined with a modern and thorough quality control system.

Implementing a quality control assurance system that incorporates excellent administrative records as well as experience and expertise ensures that all of our work is detailed, can easily be tracked and evaluated.

A superyacht can boast the most technically advanced engineering in the world, it can be beautifully designed, but the most visual element is always the paintwork and the quality of the fairing.  The demand for high quality unique paint systems has never been higher and with such a vast array of options available on the current market, the standards are continually being raised.  In order for us to reach these standards we trust in the more traditional techniques, such as long-board sanding for example, which can often be neglected in favour of machines.

We record air temperature, surface temperature, humidity and dew point levels for each application on every project.  We adhere to the paint manufacturer’s technical specifications, and record all product batch numbers for traceability.

It is this commitment to excellent method and reporting systems that allow us to offer a fully insured third party warranty on the work we do.
